Credits and Pricing

How Vizzybl credits work, what each action costs, and how the team pool is shared.

Credits and Pricing

Vizzybl uses a credit system to meter AI-powered actions. Credits keep costs predictable, tie pricing to value rather than fluctuating provider rates, and make sure you always know what an action will cost before you run it.

What credits are

Credits are an internal unit of account. A single-page audit always costs 15 credits — whether the underlying AI provider is faster or slower this week, or we switch models behind the scenes. You pay for the work, not for whatever the machinery happens to cost us on a given day.

Every action in Vizzybl has a fixed credit cost shown before you confirm. There are no surprise charges and no metered dollar billing per action.

The team pool

Each tenant (your organization) has a shared credit balance called the pool. Every member draws from the same pool, and Owners and Admins can see a per-member breakdown in Settings → Credit Usage.

  • Free tier — 250 credits per month, fixed allocation.
  • Paid tiers — A fixed monthly allocation per paid subscription (Pro 1,050, Ultra 2,500, Enterprise 10,000). Adding team members does not increase the pool — only an additional paid subscription does. Your exact allocation is visible in Settings → Billing.
  • Multi-brand teams — Credits pool across every brand and contributor in your organization. One shared balance, shared by all team members.

How holds work

For audits and other long-running actions, Vizzybl reserves credits up-front as a hold.

  • Credits are reserved the moment you start the action.
  • If the action fails, the hold is cancelled and every reserved credit returns to your pool. No charge.
  • If the action falls back to a smaller scope (for example, a deep audit that downgrades to single-page), you are only charged for what actually completed. The difference auto-refunds.
  • Holds expire after 24 hours if they haven't been settled — a safety net for crashes or interrupted runs.
  • You can see every in-flight hold in Settings → Credit Usage → Active Credit Holds.

Tier gating

Some actions are gated to specific tiers (for example, the Top 50 audit requires Pro or above, and the Full Site audit requires Ultra or above). The action catalog column above shows which. If you try to run a gated action on a lower tier you'll see a clear upgrade prompt — no credits are reserved.

Some actions also carry per-feature monthly caps in addition to their credit cost — for example, the free tier is limited to one single-page audit a month. Those caps reset on the first of the month UTC. The caps shown for brand intelligence findings and infographic generation are configured but not currently enforced: both actions run in shadow mode while we validate pricing, so usage is logged and no cap is applied. Feature-level limits still apply — see the Brand Intelligence findings row above.
